Rigorous Collaboration, Quality First: Record of Vietnam Customer's Full-Line Project Launch

Last week, with the formal confirmation of the order by the Vietnamese customer, our company’s full-line production project (including waterjet cutting lines, double edging machines, and washing machines) officially entered the workshop production phase. As the main responsible party for the project, we upheld the principles of "quality priority and cycle control," convening a special pre-production meeting with partner units and the customer team before equipment production to refine every detail—from technical specifications to production schedules—to lay a solid foundation for smooth delivery.

I. Multi-dimensional Collaboration: Seamless Transition from Drawings to Workshop

The project involves three core equipment systems, with multiple technical indicators including waterjet cutting precision, double-edge grinding efficiency, and washing cleanliness. To ensure seamless integration across all links, the project team organized a pre-production meeting with partners (suppliers of washing machines and waterjet lines) one week before production, focusing on three key issues:

Layout Diagram Review: Based on the actual workshop space, confirm equipment spacing, material flow paths, and safety passages to avoid rework due to layout deviations.

Cross-Validation of Parameters: Conduct detailed checks on critical parameters such as waterjet pressure vs. cutting speed, grinding wheel mesh count vs. washing machine water circulation flow rate, ensuring technical documents align with customer requirements.

Interface Standardization: Unify electrical signals and data transmission protocols between equipment, simulating online debugging scenarios in advance to reduce risks in later-stage integration.

II. Quality Control: Zero-Tolerance Standards Across the Full Process

In response to the Vietnamese customer’s strict requirements for product surface finish and cutting precision, the project team strengthened control from the source:

Process Monitoring: Added visual inspection stations in the grinding and washing sections, providing real-time data feedback to the central control system to prevent batch defects.

Customer Participation: Invited customer representatives to remotely access equipment trial runs and conduct cross-border video inspections of samples, ensuring no deviations from agreed standards.

Additionally, the team prepared a bilingual (Chinese-Vietnamese) Operation and Maintenance Manual to provide technical support for the customer’s independent operation and maintenance in the future.

III. Cycle Assurance: Detailed Scheduling and Risk Preparedness in Parallel

Facing the customer’s 50-day delivery deadline, the project team adopted a "two-line parallel" strategy:

Main Equipment Production: In-house production of waterjet and edging machine bodies followed a day-by-day reverse schedule, with dedicated personnel tracking key components.

Outsourced Components: Non-standard parts such as washing machine frames and conveyor belts were pre-allocated production capacity with partners, reserving a 10% buffer period to address potential logistics delays.

Meanwhile, anticipating potential (ocean freight) impacts from Southeast Asia’s rainy season, the team signed a "space reservation agreement" with freight forwarders and planned alternative routes (truck-to-sea transport) to minimize delivery risks.

IV. Customer Value: Building Long-Term Trust Through Technical Expertise

This project is more than a single-order delivery; it represents a comprehensive demonstration of our full-line solution capabilities. Through pre-production collaboration, process control, and delivery assurance, the team successfully translated customer needs into implementable technical specifications, laying the groundwork for deeper future cooperation. Currently, the first waterjet equipment has entered final assembly, with joint debugging scheduled to begin next week.

"Details define quality, and speed fulfills commitments." In the context of global competition, our company will continue to prioritize technical collaboration and lean management to help customers reduce costs and enhance efficiency, ensuring that "Made in China Smart Manufacturing" continues to shine on the international stage.
